Welcome

In the tenth century the emissaries of Volodymyr the Great, ruler of Kyivan Rus', searched the world for a new  faith for his people.  When they returned from Constantinople, they  related to him that they had encountered God in the beauty of the  Christian worship there. That figured into his decision to choose  Christianity in its Byzantine form.  He and his people were baptized in  the year 988 AD.  We aim to worship in just such a beautiful, reverent  yet dynamic way. Everyone is welcome. Please join us.  Вітаємо всіх гостей! По Службі Божій залишіться в нас на обід!

About St. Michael, our Patron

The name Michael is from the Hebrew and  means "Who is like God?" St. Michael is an Archangel and the leader of  the heavenly hosts. He is a mighty protector, and many of our  parishioners can attest to his protection.
